fabulous living in barcelona

My friends had a short girls weekend in Barcelona, and I was so jealous since I couldn’t join them! I spent my holiday there last year, and it was amazing. Next time, I’d love to check in to one of these fab apartments!

Luxurious rental apartments are the latest trend in travelling, where the visitors get to check in to these fabulous apartments with all necessities { yes, and more } yet still enjoy the luxury of a design hotel. I haven’t checked the price tag, it’s not necessary since so far I’m just dreaming of living here, and it’s all free!

Yes, I know it’s all crispy white and maybe a bit dull for us color lovers… but it still looks fabulous.

The Swedish company Mimou has recently launhed a new collection of pretty wallpapers. Have a look and tell me, how do you like the large flowers and colorful patterns?

The wallpaper on the left is called Mesdames and on the rigth Poinsettia. 

I enjoy the red quite a lot!

This weekend I’ve been feeling for luxury, as you can see from the previous post. I also realized i need to have a peacock feather painting!  Here’s some beauties from Etsy.

Yet another funny thing is that some some while ago I presented my mum with the ideas we have for our new home, and she said: ‘…oh, so the kitchen will be very similar to the house you were brought up in..?’

I said what? Nooo… or? And now, I’m just thinking about the fabulous peacock feathers my parents had as decoration in our livingroom… it’s okay, my mum is one very stylish woman!

I sold my home

I and JW own a few homes together since I moved to his place, and we also purchased the new home { well, a hole in the ground really so far...} But, this weekend I managed to sell my little nest. 

Here's some pictures from the little place. As you see, I don't have as much stuff there as I use to have, it's just because all the stuff is now in our current home. So, for this occasion, and to get it sold I did some styling there { quite little actually }. But my sweet little {ex}nest looks lovely, no?

My friend in Helsinki has just bought an apartment and I cannot wait to see how it will look like. It’s apparently a renovation object and you all know how we feel about those..? Love.

However, she wished for some Chanel inspiration, and I love Chanel so this was easy.



What’s the first thing you think about when you hear the word Chanel? For me it’s insane luxury and timeless style. { also that damn handbag I so-so want, maybe now that I sold my own apartment? }
