fabulous living in barcelona

Hi, how are you doing? I’m great, just got back home from Finland where our friends got married in a wonderful ceremony. The great mixture of Brits, Finns, Swedes and Norwegians, with some Americans and Malaysians really worked well, the party was absolutely amazing!

I’m on a holiday now, or actually, between jobs! I’m starting at a new job at the end of August, so now it’s just relaxing and plenty of fun summer plans!

My friends are heading to Barcelona, and I’m so jealous! I spent my holiday there last year, and it was amazing. Next time, I’d love to check in to one of these fab apartments!

Luxurious rental apartments are the latest trend in travelling, where the visitors get to check in to these fabulous apartmnts with all necessities { yes, and more } yet still enjoy the luxury of a design hotel. I haven’t checked the price tag, it’s not necessary since so far I’m just dreaming of living here, and it’s all free!

it’s Helsinki time again

We are off to Helsinki again, and this time because one of my best girls is getting married, and I have the great honor of being one of the bridesmaids! The couple resides in London, and the wedding is a Finnish-English-Swedish-Norwegian mix, I’m sure it’s gonna be so much fun!

Here’s the absolute fabulous church, The Helsinki Dome Church. It’s madly beautiful!

Here’s the venue, Klippan. It’s a restaurant on an island i the middle of the city. Also bliss.

This our hotel, Glo, very cool hotel in the city. Ok now, I’m off but I’ll get back in couple of days and show pictures of the celebrations!

holiday mood

I'm slowly turning on my holiday mood, and just counting days before I'm off work and relaxing the warm weather, refreshing drinks, late barbeque nights and early sunny mornings. Ah, Bliss. While still thinking about what to do on our holiday, that is, besides fixing at home, I'm dreaming about beautiful hotels and hotel bars... I'm still into camping but my French Fabulousness likes this one too...

I’m a fan of this Swedish pillow company, Pillove! The fab pillows come in all different sizes, and are also sold on etsy, as well on the online boutique. I really love the colors this talented girls uses for her pillows. The pillows are hand picked in all over the world.

I love mirror on walls! They create such light and more space, specially living in small apartments in countries where the sun is not necessary showing her loveliness all the time...

The tropical heat { no, not really but it's hot } is still here, and I'm saying I want to have a holiday. Just a couple more weeks and I'll be out of office and enjoying the summer.

Balloons make my day. Oh we had an interior meeting with the contractor who is building our new home. We got to chose the floors, walls, kitchen cabins... I can't wait to move in!

Château du Grand Val

I was so excited when a friend of mine showed her family’s latest trip to the French coutryside. This fabulous Château situated in Bretagne is just absolutely divine! I cannot simply imagine a more lovely place for a little holiday, or maybe for a wedding party? I’m smitten by this beauty, and want to visit this as we speak.

     

The Château du Grand Val is owned by a Swedish couple who spent many years looking for the perfect castle in France. They found this historical place in the 90’s and today they offer a fabulous experience with top chiefs, fantastic interiors and surrounding. You can rent the whole castle, or parts of it, and enjoy a holiday of your dreams. So, my love, how about changing our summer holiday plans a bit…?

We are planning to do this… almost the same right?
