It’s been a really hectic week now, a lot of work and other fun stuff! We are busy planning the new home, allthough we need to wait a looong time before we can move in.

I love these lamp shades! I wonder if anyone knows how to best organize the electricity to three lamps hanging on top of the dinner table? We only have one hole for a lamp…

I found this sweet home in a Finnish design magazine, and fell in love with the use of colors and the cozy romantic atmosphere. I find the wallpaper just divine, and the old furniture really makes this little home a very unique place.

our home planning: bedroom

Ok ladies, now I’ll start my planning for the new home. I get to plan these things over and over again before we move but it’s great to lie just a little bit ahead… { I love planning, madly&deeply }

And I also need to kind of introduce couple of ideas to mr. Man…

Ok, here’s the first dilemma: bedroom. I’ve been looking for some basic beautiful furniture at Ikea, since we are trying to make a lower cost furnishing plan { so that I can happily invest in some um… higher cost items without feeling too guilty…I love investment science! }

So, Ikea furniture… probably these:

This is called Hemnes and I think it is very pretty! Something like that will the the furnishing part. Not all in the bedroom but you get the point.

Now to the real dilemma: what’s my { our } style?

Would fabulous black&silver do it? It’s simply glorious…

Eh, I love it

… or, am I { shit, WE } a more beige, champagne, white and natural kind of people { don’t forget the silver! }?

our new home { or a hole in the ground }

hah, yesterday was the day me and Mr. Man spent a whole lotta money... We purchased our first home together! Jumping joy!

Well, we actually spent masses of money on a hole that has appeared in this lovely neigborhood of Stockholm. The house is a new building project and ready in 2011. It's crazy to spend that much money on something that's not there... 2011! Jeez, I have no idea how to manage this long waiting. It's mad, whenever I want something I need it like yesterday, and now we need to wait, what, 18 months. Hello?

So, today me and my friend paid a visit to the hole to make sure that

1) the millions of cronas hole really was there. Check.

2) the friendly builders would work faster with no breaks. Done.

Some day it will look like this...

So, now, I get to choose all the building materials and design the interiors from scraaatch { ok, we get to choose }. THAT is cool shit!

Mr man has a lot of carefully selected plates from different epoques and landscapes { well, his parents have them } and we would love to get hold of some of them. I'd love to hang them in our kitchen like this lovely image here.

sweet country style

I am longing for summer, the sun and the green nature. Up here North where I live it’s such a short time we can enjoy light and warmth. This summer we are going to stay in Sweden and Finland, and make a road trip to the countryside, maybe even a short visit to Denmark. But, mostly I’m just dreaming of a cottage somewhere close to a lake.

I also love Pottery Barn cushions! These images describe pretty well how much I miss summer now… Have a lovely day my friends!
