The summer is getting here too, even if it relly doesn't look like that yet... The winter has been so long and cold that everyone is expecting a long and warm summer. One of my best friends is getting married in Helsinki, and I have the honor of being one of the bridesmaids! Now, we are very busy planning it all!

Don't you just love it when you find good looking cushions? I'm a self confessed cushion freak, and my home is slowly becoming a veeery soft place... Much to my partner's annoyance.

Well, just let the cushions rotate around the house and put some of them to the attic when they're not in for the moment.

This coming weekend I'm off to Finland to meet my family and friends. It's going to be so lovely to get together after a long time. My family lives in Helsinki, and it's just me who has emigrated to the neighbouring country for many years ago.

Finns are pretty known for style and design, which is often very Marimekko and retro inspired. Not like in Sweden where people adore shabby chic, in Finland the use of colors is more common. Here, a funky apartment that's on sale in the beautiful neighborhood called Punavuori.

Not really my style but still pretty impressive, huh?

I'm loving this NY store! How fabulous furniture and wall decor. I'd love to get white vintage frames to put on my wall, or maybe spray paint some wooden frames... The chair is so cool, wish I was closer to this store!

fixing at home

I know I've been absent for a while now, but it's just so much going on. Last weekend was spent in London, and now this weekend is spent at home and fixing around the flat. I will show some pictures of my latest shoppings very soon...
